Fashion show to feature local looks, benefit York Twinning Association

The York Twinning Association will present the Ardella Gable Memorial Jet Setting Fashion Show 7 p.m., May 2, at The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, 140 N. Beaver St., York.

The show will feature fashions of Jos. A. Bank, Shoe Gallery Etc., Sweet Melissa’s Dream, The Watchmaker’s Daughter and Collage. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Fashions highlighting men’s, women’s and students’ fashions and accessories for travel, will be modeled by student participants in the group’s German and French exchange programs, as well as by host parents and organization members.

Tickets are $25 per person which includes German and French-inspired hors d’oeuvres and wines. For tickets or details, call Lori Rene Weyant at 717-891-3732 or email Lorirene1@hotmail.com .

The fashion show is a fundraiser for the York Twinning Association, a non-profit organization that supports educational and cultural exchanges with the cities of Arles, France and Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany. For details about the York Twinning Association, visit the group’s Facebook page.
